I have been a bit rusty over the years slowly sinking in the mire of society losing my way as a country man to influence of change I wish I was still living in the outback where dad was a station hand and mum was a hard working woman herself looking after me and my brother's God rest her soul so I'm starting to get back into my country songs and start playing more of my guitar ❤❤

My nana was born during the depression and met my grandfather when he was stationed in Perth after surviving Pearl Harbor. He was on the “Pearl Harbor avenger” - USS Bowfin, a submarine. When the war ended US sent wire for my 2 toddler uncles to be sent to US as they were children of an American service member. She was a Bridal Train member. When I was little she would sing this to me and waltz around the room. She also sang kookaburra. They reminded her of home.

I too found this from WC2. Kind of reminds me of Ernest Tubb (I’m American).

I'm not really a man for guitar music as I like electronic music better but slim dusty was a legend as his songs are good and he wrote them from his own hands and sung them himself and his tunes are more chilled and mellowed
